We create experiences around the brand that tell a story, create content and let our guests experience the BMW products. To continue setting new experience benchmarks, our team is currently looking for a Brand Experience/Events Marketing and Partnerships Intern. What will you be doing?

In this role you will be assisting the team in 2022/2023 with key large projects as well as the day to day co-ordinating of smaller adhoc events. During the year, you shall work on a range of events with the key calendar highlights being Goodwood’s Festival of Speed and the BMW PGA Championship. That being said, the team specialises in experiential activities in the areas B2B events, brand events, Sports Marketing activities and Partnerships. During your time at BMW you shall have the opportunity to work on a range of projects in these categories whilst also reporting directly to an Events Executive who specialises in one of the aforementioned areas. Your daily responsibilities will also include operational tasks such as fleet management, event logistics and accountancy.

Qualifications and Experience

You will:

  • Be studying for a degree in Business Studies/Marketing/Events Management and predited a 2:2 or higher
  • Have a good understanding of marketing principals and experience in events or marketing
  • Have a good knowledge of the automotive industry
  • Have excellent organisational skills and attention to detail

You will need to demonstrate the following skills:

  • Sound communication/interpersonal skills, diplomacy and personal presentation
  • Project management ability – planning/organisation skills, delivery to deadlines, good presentation skills (Powerpoint)
  • Proven ability to work on own initiative and flexibility to juggle multiple projects
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Proven team player with the ability to motivate others
  • Problem-solving ability
  • Willingness to work flexibly

There will be a requirement for you to work flexibly including some evenings and weekends at various locations across the UK and a full driving licence is also necessary.Did you know…
