We are seeking a patient focused Pharmacist to join our dedicated team at our Boots pharmacy on Station Road, Swanage, Dorset
This store has a well established team with experienced and knowledgeable staff, currently dispensing approximately 1800 items a week and growing!
This store has a beautiful view of Swanage bay and the cliffs from their checking bench which is very unique! The pharmacy is a stones throw from the beach; Swanage is a vibrant town in summer months with lots going on. There are heaps of really great walks in the beautiful countryside. A really great place to live and work.
This store has a great relationship with the local GP surgery and lots of opportunties for a great pharmacist to make a big difference in this close-knit community. We are seeking someone to continue to grow and maintain our already great and established relationships within the local community.
The role
This is an exciting opportunity for you to work within a medium sized, service lead store; you will have the support of a team of experienced ACT's, dispensers and pharmacy advisors, as well as a strong retail management support team and a dedicated Area Manager and Head of Stores
This position comes with the opportunity to complete your independent prescribing qualification, fully funded by Boots!
We will also consider newly qualified pharmacists for this position.
Pharmacy Opening Times for This Store are:
Monday to Saturday 9am - 5:30pm
Sunday - 10am - 4pm
(Although this is advertised as a full-time opportunity, part-time is always considered)

What you need
To be successful in this role you will have a professional, caring character and a true desire to help others feel good. In addition you will:
- Be registered with relevant pharmacy regulator (GPhC, PSNI, PSI)
- Demonstrate high levels of professional expertise and be widely respected by stakeholders, peers, patients, customers and external local professionals
- Have a passion for community pharmacy and providing the best care for our customers.
- Have a love of working collaboratively with a team-centred approach
- Have excellent knowledge of pharmacy operations and provisions of national and local services
- Role model communication skills; you will hold excellent face to face interactions to effectively meet the varied needs of customers and patients in pharmacy
