Job description

An exciting opportunity to start a journey into professional sales management with an industry leading company.

The commercial sales advanced apprentice is a field-based position in the Commercial boiler, HIU and commercial heat pump business.

Their key responsibility is to promote sales of commercial boilers, HIU and Heat pump products to commercial merchants and installers. Initially the role will consist of,

  • Year One – Visit and develop relationships with all associated commercial heating merchants. The aim will be to quote Bosch products wherever possible via the merchants. Extensive training will be given. There will also be extensive contact with Bosch commercial technical managers to help and guide them in the role.
  • Year Two – Continue with the merchant role but with the addition of contact with commercial installers. This will be a natural migration of the role and will initially involve joint visits with a Bosch commercial technical manager. These site visits will act as training and development for the individual.

The role will also involve extensive liaison with colleagues within different areas of the commercial and industrial business as well as with the Worcester residential sales team.

They will be expected to work with the businesses CRM system or equivalent for quotation raising, all call activities with our customers and detailed project tracking and analysis in line the business reporting requirements.

Full training on sales techniques, distribution channels and commercial heating products and systems will be given.

Qualifications

Must have

  • an undergraduate degree
  • a full UK driving licence

Additional information

  • Expected Start Date: as soon as possible
  • Location: The role will be based in Scotland and Cumbria and may involve extensive travel and some overnight stays. Travel to Worcester for initial and ongoing training will be required.
  • Working Hours: 39 hours a week; Mon – Thurs 08.00 - 17.00 and Fri 08.00 - 16.00 with a 1 hour unpaid lunch break
