About the role

The Car Fleet Department at Robert Bosch Ltd based in Denham, has a fantastic opportunity for an undergraduate student with a keen interest in Fleet & Risk Management to undertake a 12-month office-based placement.

As a Fleet Administrator Intern, you will have an exciting opportunity to gain valuable experience working for a highly reputable global company where you can develop your personal and professional skills.

Responsibilities will include

  • Provide general administrative support to internal and external customers   
  • Support with implementing new fleet software
  • Support with implementing new Fleet Management company
  • Set up new car fleet data base’s – accidents, fines, hire vehicle damage etc     
  • High level of data processing
  • Take responsibility of allocated car fleet role split
  • Analysis of Fleet Costs
  • Reporting of year-end Fleet Costs 
  • Administer cost centre and car band changes
  • Administer vehicle movements  
  • Ad-hoc projects and tasks as directed by the Fleet Manager

Qualifications

Skills required

  • Interest in the Automotive Industry  
  • Studying for a degree in a relevant discipline e.g., Finance, Accounting, and Business
  • Good team player
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills 
  • Excellent MS Office skills, particularly in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Ability to problem solve and implement effective resolutions
  • Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines in a time-pressured environment
  • Be able to demonstrate a continuous improvement mind-set
  • Always operate with compassion and discretion whilst remaining impartial

Additional information

Please note that we would like you to start in June 2022 for a 12-month Internship. This position is open to undergraduates who are required to partake in a work placement as part of their degree course.
