    As we grow and scale, we’re looking for Events Marketing Executive to join our Events Team and help us scale the business!

    The Events Marketing Executive will join the expanding Events Team who are responsible for the end-to-end event management of Bright Network’s events portfolio. We introduce our members to exceptional job opportunities, remarkable organisations, and exclusive, innovative networking events to help them get ahead in their careers.

    The Events Marketing Executive must have the ability to stay calm under pressure, demonstrate active listening, strong attention to detail and exhibit excellent organisational skills. This is a demanding and diverse role that includes a mix of project coordination & creative work. Last year, the events team worked with 220 clients and had over 5000 students attend our events. We have big expansion plans for our virtual, in-person and hybrid events offerings in the future and would love for you to join the team!

    Key responsibilities:

    • Work continuously to develop the brand of our events
    • Assist in the design conceptualisation of event assets
    • Assist in content creation for marketing efforts, including and not limited to email, social media, onboarding journeys and more
    • Assist in the collation and production of marketing materials as needed, including helping to create engaging social media content
    • Be the first point of contact for any student enquiries regarding events
    • Manage & engage our attendees through various online channels such as Guild
    • Creating, event surveys and other forms pertaining to the marketing of our events
    • Helping to source new partners, vendors and venues
    • Work with the marketing team to ensure brand consistency across all channels
    • Review and proof both print and digital marketing materials
    • Work closely with the delivery team and designer to create programmes for various events
    • Collaborate with our Student Leadership Board to enhance member experience at our events
    • End-to-end event management including, but not limited to, preparation and coordination of events, attending on the day and overseeing the smooth running of the day

    Does this sound like you?

    • In the region of 6-12 months’ experience in either marketing or event management or an equally relevant field
    • You’re a calm individual who can operate under pressure, deadlines, and the demands of a busy office environment
    • You have the ability to learn quickly and take personal initiative with out of the box thinking and a solution-oriented mindset!
    • You have strong communication skills, excellent attention to detail & strong organisational skills
    • You’ll be a team player who is willing to work flexibly and autonomously
    • Natural ability to network and build professional relationships with clients, students and vendors
    • Please note that due to the cyclical nature of our events, holiday approval will be limited from August-November and February-March
    • You feel passionately about Bright Network's mission to improve social mobility, diversity & inclusion within the early careers space!

    It would be beneficial, but not required, if you have experience with any of the following:

    • Greenhouse, dotmailer, Excel, Google Suite, Canva, Social Media
    • HTML experience or experience in website management

    Interview process

    • 20 minute initial screening call with a member of our People Team
    • 60 minute competency interview with our Events Marketing team
    • Presentation / task followed by values & culture interview with a panel
    • 1:1 with our CEO
