Apprentice Program Overview
Aimed at individuals who are inquisitive and strategic thinkers who are looking to gain a solid understanding of the data science concepts and techniques. Learn technical skills such as programming, big data, advanced analytics, AI, machine learning and robotic process automation, from experienced industry tutors who have previous track record in working with complex data architectures and projects.
You will understand the strategic role of data in the organisation and its processes and will have the ability to visualise and present stories in data to key stakeholders within the business.
Area of Focus
In this job, you will learn methodical data science techniques to measure performance and influence change. You’ll be working closely with other teams in Digital, Commercial and Marketing to successfully apply and quantify these data techniques. You will learn to mine and evaluate big data sets using data science techniques, and deliver appropriate outcomes for the business, whether analysis, modelling and/or recommendations.
Gain addition skills
As a Data Scientist Degree Apprentice, you’ll study for a University Degree in Data Science whilst working alongside our Data and Decision Science team, actively applying what you learn at university to your role within EE. Upon successful completion of your apprenticeship, you’ll receive a BSc (Hons) Data Science.
The degree course runs for three year, delivered online using Adobe Connect classroom and is a work-based learning degree.
You’ll spend a minimum of 20% of your time learning and studying supported by our apprenticeship provider and your team. You can find more details here

Entry Requirements
You’ll need to achieve (or be on course to achieve) three A-Levels with a minimum of BCC grades with one of these in A-Level Maths. You’ll also need a minimum of five GCSEs at grades 4-9 (C or above) including English and Maths. Equivalent qualifications are accepted.
