About this role
Everyone these days knows how key data is to any business. Data helps influence change, demonstrate trends, and show a business what new directions to take. Working on some of our transformational projects, you’ll become the data expert, leveraging various analysis tools working in modern cloud environments such as AWS and GCP to help build end to end data platforms and support data management and governance.
You’ll be joining a team of highly skilled data professionals to create insights to build and maintain our data models. You’ll learn to apply data cleansing techniques and data standardisation rules to help keep documents and data quality up to date. Working with the wider team, you’ll look at what the data journey needs to look like and collaborate with relevant teams to develop our products and services.
You will apply your data expertise to develop and advise approach on a range of complex, high impact and data solutions and identify ways to standardise and simplify engineering processes. You will make sure data is available and of the right quality, as well as compliant with best practice. Consequently, you will also develop and deliver high-quality and comprehensive data pipelines and data flows into analytics platforms. Helping to identify new potential data source and making sure we’re always trying to improve our ways of working will also form a crucial and exciting part of the role.
We’ll give you on the job training and access to our internal learning platforms and the exposure you need to become a commercially savvy professional within the relevant business unit.

Entry requirements
A 2:2 degree in a STEM subject is required for this role. Other requirements include strong skills in R, SQL, Python and an understanding of the concepts and principles of data analyst. Awareness of Data Management best practice, including data lifecycle management, is advantageous.
Starting salary
- £33,500
- This is a 24-month Graduate position, followed by a permanent position in this Business Unit at the end of the programme.
