    About this role

We work with over 1.2 million business customers, ranging from small business with just a few staff, to huge corporations. We provide services and products for a whole host of business customers as well as things like networks, cyber security, mobile, fixed voice…anything they need! As part of that, we need to make sure we can support our customers with technical expertise so that they understand how it all works together. And that’s where our Digital Technology experts come in.

Our consultants work with our customers to understand their unique business challenges and needs, and then take it all and turn it into a recommendation for appropriate digital technology systems, applications and platforms. You’ll develop advanced knowledge of our technical solutions, as well as how they all interact together. By the end of your programme, you’ll be on course to be a SME (a subject matter expert) and also working towards industry recognised technical accreditations.

But just being technical isn’t enough. We’ll teach you how to manage risk, change and conflict as part of the solution design process and lifecycle, as well as how to prioritise and manage all your projects together. You’ll also learn how to build and maintain relationships with your stakeholders around the business, and make sure teams come together to deliver on time. You’ll need to be able to talk to sales teams as well as talk technical with product owners; a real skill to learn. Plus your customer might not be too technical, and you’ll need to be able to explain things simply and easily to them.

This role teaches you a great blend of management and technical skills within the world of digital, meaning you’ll be in demand no matter what career path you choose.

This role is available in our Enterprise part of the business. On the programme you’ll be part of 3 rotations, spending 8 months in each rotation.
