This programme focuses on building a broad future skill-set for our graduates, and to achieve this you’ll gain skills and knowledge across the Technology life-cycle which will include designing, testing and operating our systems which are used to deliver vital services to our customers, who vary from large, multinational corporations to individuals using our products and services at home. You will develop by working on voice (fixed or mobile), TV, content delivery, mobility or security and you’ll have the opportunity to develop knowledge of the software lifecycle and put it into practice within the Technology division; making a real contribution to BT’s business success.
Across these business areas you will be developing & bringing to life methodologies in an agile & human centred environment.
You’ll need to demonstrate your passion for technology, and you’ll also need the ability to be able to translate complex ideas to our customers and the business acumen to see valuable opportunities when they arise.
If you don’t have a computer science background, don’t worry we have a comprehensive suite of training and support in place to help you develop the skills required within your given role. We’ll always give you the training and development you need to succeed.
This role is available in the Technology part of our business.
Entry requirements
A 2:1 degree in a STEM subject is required for this role.
Because of the nature of the work we do some of our software roles will require security clearance. Don’t worry, a member of the Early Careers Team will talk you through this.
