The role

Capital Advisors provides the full range of corporate, structured finance and capital raising services, together with investment advice for individual properties, portfolios, indirect ownership services and complex situations. This includes corporate recovery services, specialist wholesale unlisted equity raising and loan servicing across EMEA.

During your time on the programme you will experience on the job training, exposure to clients, colleagues and senior stakeholders and access to the Global platform of CBRE.

Purpose

CBRE’s Capital Advisors team provides independent and industry-leading capital markets advice, backed by our unrivalled financial expertise and global real asset insight.

Our Corporate Finance team within Capital Advisors, works closely with clients who are looking for the focus, discipline and reach of a global corporate finance firm, combined with the real asset sector knowledge of the world’s leading commercial property company. Our experts comprise experienced real asset and financing professionals who match client needs with investment strategies across specialist sectors and geographies, using a variety of capital structures.  The EMEA team works seamlessly with the CBRE network globally to provide clients with best-in-class advice and execution.

The successful candidates will join our Corporate Finance team providing services to our clients across these areas:

  • Real Estate Investment Banking: Achieving a calculated balance between capital and assets is crucial for the success of our client’s business.  We advise clients all over the world on capital, restructuring and transactions.
  • Equity Placement: We have the platform and infrastructure to advise and effectively match capital to the investment opportunity.
  • Debt and Structured Finance: We arrange finance and loan sales across all asset classes – can facilitate whole loans, senior mezzanine, development and bridging finance.
  • Corporate Capital Markets: Providing advice, qualitative and quantitative analysis, and execution to support capital solutions for corporately owned and occupied real estate portfolios globally.
  • Financial Consulting: Providing bespoke financial analysis for real asset investors.  Our dedicated team assess corporate, fund, investment and development opportunities to facilitate efficient decision-making.

We are looking for individuals with an interest in property, commitment to learning, enthusiasm for finance and a tenacious and analytical mind-set. In return the Capital Advisors Financial Analyst Programme provides you with a unique opportunity to immediately specialise in Real Estate finance.

Education

CBRE is committed to your ongoing development and our L&D offering will focus on the development of your financial, analytical, property and soft skills. Candidates with a RICS accredited degree will be able to complete their APC in Property Finance and Investment over the two year programme, or alternatively, alongside our non-cognate candidates, will be able to complete the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) programme.
