Capital Allowances

Capital Allowances is a form of tax relief available on virtually all types of commercial property expenditure, including property acquisitions, new build and refurbishment schemes.

Our team of Capital Allowances specialists are dual qualified in both property & tax, and they work with a full range of clients across all sectors.  From initial design, through to the end of a development, or as part of the due diligence team, we are there to assist our clients to optimising their tax position – considering everything from tax efficient designs through to the implementation of energy efficient and green technologies. You will assist in tax analysis of capital expenditure on a wide range of property acquisitions/developments, delivering claim reports to a high standard to ensure clients’ expectations are met.

  • Good MS Office skills including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint

Education

  • Ideally you will be studying, or studied, a RICS accredited degree in Quantity Surveying
  • We will also consider a Maths, Economics, Finance, Tax, Business Studies or Built Environment related degree.
