Introducing the team

The Infrastructure Financing team finances, through senior or mezzanine debt, major infrastructure projects around the world, including highways, renewables projects, social infrastructure and telecommunications projects. Our investments cover several sectors and are allocated across the world, primarily in Canada, the United States and Europe. The team leverages a wide variety of knowledge and expertise to create long-term value.

The successful candidate will actively support the team in achieving its business objectives by participating in rigorous file monitoring, becoming involved in improving portfolio performance and foster collaboration and teamwork.

Main responsibilities

  • Produce rigorous fundamental, financial and sector analyses of portfolio investments that are both quantitative and qualitative.
  • Gather, analyze and summarize information to provide recommendations regarding the evolution of the credit risk of investments.
  • Update and help improve portfolio management reports/tools.
  • Participate in analyzing and drafting documents related to new investment opportunities.
  • Attend different team and filter committee meetings.
  • Contribute to all other related team tasks or projects.

Requirements

  • Enrolled in a bachelor’s (second year or more) or master’s degree program in finance or related field
  • Proficient in analyzing financial statements and models
  • Previous experience in corporate banking or investing
  • Registered in a certified/chartered analyst (CFA) program is an asset
  • Comfortable with software used in finance (Excel, Capital IQ, Bloomberg, etc.)
  • Good business acumen
  • Fluency in French and English, both spoken and written
