Role Definition

You will be part of CFC’s project team, a team that is a cornerstone in driving change and scaling the business in line with our ambitious growth trajectory. The project team leads companywide, transformational projects and initiatives and much more.

This is a new team within the business and given the varied workload of the team and the fast-paced nature of the projects we are involved in, significant organisation and coordination is required to keep us on track in delivering our goals and realising our ambitions. You will play a key role alongside the Project Leader in coordinating and organising company wide projects

Responsibilities & Accountabilities

  • Work with the project team and other stakeholders to define, and manage company-wide initiatives and projects
  • Formally agree the scope of the project or work package and manages any variations in accordance with Change Control process. Tracks and reports against project timeline.
  • Create project and resource plans gaining stakeholder buy-in. Drives delivery against the plan and takes proactive actions to prevent any deviation.
  • Establish and maintain the Risk and Issue register identifying new risks and response strategies. Implement mitigation where issues occur.
  • Creates and sustains collaborative working relationships across customer and internal teams. Communicates concisely using appropriate methods.
  • Generating ideas and strategies for technology, people and process improvements.
  • Routine production of dashboards to share with relevant stakeholder groups, such as project stakeholders, subject matter experts and the board of directors.

Skills & Ability

  • Experience in working on external customer-facing projects, who has strong communication and stakeholder management skills alongside solid reporting, governance and planning skills;
  • Formal project management training;
  • Confident, energetic and assertive;
  • Strong work ethic with a flexible attitude;
  • Above all you’re a team player!

Education and Qualifications

  • Educated to degree level.
