At Citi, we value internal mobility, and career growth is not a question of if, but when. Citi is looking for full-time Analysts to join the Global Subsidiaries Group (GSG) team in London. GSG, part of the Corporate Banking Business, are relationship-focused finance professionals responsible for understanding the wide range of complex financial issues facing our clients around the world. GSG serves a select number of world leading corporations that demand the highest standards and world class/quality coverage.

As a GSG Banker, you will drive the client dialogue on treasury and working capital, liability management, liquidity and funding strategies, risk management and investment solutions for Citi’s top multi-national clients in the UK. If none of these terms make sense right now, that’s ok!

As a GSG Analyst, you will join a training program in London, where you will receive an in-depth education on a variety of these topics to learn the fundamentals of the Analyst role and introduce you to Citi’s culture. So whatever your degree is in we will give you the training you need to excel.

We’re committed to teaching you the ropes. The GSG Analyst Program starts in mid-July 2024 and begins with a six to eight week in-depth training program. You will then join the GSG London team to work with for the duration of the Program. By the third year of the program; Analysts will have the opportunity to take advantage of internal mobility opportunities.

Your time here will look something like this

  • Conduct accounting and financial statement analysis
  • Complete fundamental risk and credit analysis
  • Conduct comprehensive analysis of client's business and its needs in order to shape and execute efficient relationship strategy
  • Liaise with product and Citi network partners on a daily basis
  • Assist in presentation and development of new ideas to clients
  • Structure and execute cash management, trade finance and corporate finance deals

Successful candidates will be offered a competitive salary. The role will be based at 33 Canada Square Canary Wharf - London, E14 5LB, United Kingdom.

This role currently offers a hybrid working model, with a mandatory three days in your assigned office, and an optional two days from home. Citi supports this business model, subject to business approval.

Candidates applying for this role must be aware that it is a Certified Role, subject to the FCA and PRA Certification Regime. The Certification Regime is one element of the Individual Accountability Regime which came into effect on 7 March 2016.
