We’re changing up the future
We’re on a mission to build the UK’s finest digital infrastructure and unleash Britain’s potential. We’re connecting communities, boosting businesses, and giving everyone access to superfast broadband. We’re also changing up the industry - we might be growing fast but we still behave like a start-up, with an open and inclusive environment where people can be themselves, speak up and make time for what matters.
What’s in it for you?
This is a fantastic opportunity to take the lead on and deliver a project within a specific division at CityFibre. You’ll get invaluable hands-on work experience, learning from our talented people whilst still adding real value to the business and helping us to transform communities across the UK.
You'll receive a salary of £20,000 which will be pro-rata across a six-week period.
What will you be doing?
During your 6 weeks, you will be supporting one of our busiest teams. You can expect to help create and manage service improvement plans while providing excellent service. Some of your other responsibilities will include:
- Producing daily reports
- Creating a document library
- Assisting with case management
- Supporting Resource planning function
What will you bring to the role?
You’ll be on track for a 2:1 (or have received one if moving onto your master’s). We are looking for someone who can produce high-quality reports, demonstrating strong administration skills as you do. Excellent organization skills are a must for this position. In addition to this, you will need the ability to build strong working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
Our unique culture
We are proud to be an equal opportunity employer; we celebrate diversity, we believe everyone has a voice and we’re committed to creating an inclusive environment for all. Even though we come from different backgrounds and do different jobs, we’re united by The CityFibre Way - our unique code of behaviours that inspires how we think, act and work. We back each other, think smart and act fast, and we’re passionate about giving it our best to build a legacy together.
You'll need to be in the penultimate year of your Undergraduate Degree, or heading into your master's year. Our summer placements start in July and are for 6 weeks over the University summer holidays.
