We are looking for a Data Analyst to join our Patient Connect brand in the UK. The Data Analyst is responsible for delivering high quality messages at the point of care supporting millions of patients across Europe and the US. You will contribute to the development, and analysis of data, using appropriate methodologies demonstrating the effectiveness of our service. The team is growing and working on new product developments. We would love to speak with you if you have skills in experience in Tableau / Power BI or other similar tools.

About you 

Experience, education, skills, and accomplishments

  • Academically qualified with a degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or other numerate science
  • Experience in MS Excel with conditional formatting, transformation, and visualization
  • SQL experience with R or Python
  • Demonstrated experience in cloud-based data warehouses and tools such as AWS

It would be great if you also had . . .

  • Experience with MS Excel with Macros and pivot tables
  • Experience or knowledge in application of machine learning techniques
  • Experience in Tableau / Power BI or other similar tools
  • Vocational experience in a similar data analysis role
  • Additional EU language skills such as Spanish, German or French

What will you be doing in this role?

  • Data Analysis. Data analysis for campaigns using quantitative and qualitative data
  • Creating and Reporting. Creating monthly and quarterly reports for highlighting the clinical and commercial benefits
  • Presenting. Presenting reports to internal and external stakeholders
  • Database management. Creating central databases & dashboards to help share information within departments

About the team

  • The product is a Digital Messaging and Data Analytics to improve patient health and compliance in the Pharmaceutical and Health sector. External stakeholders are predominantly our clients and our partners/providers. Our main clients are large Pharma companies, Clinical Research Organizations, Medical Devices companies and Charities. Our main providers are dispensing and prescribing software companies. Internal Stakeholders are multiple teams in Clarivate that collaborate with us, deliver projects in partnership, or reach out for proposals, quotes and so forth.
  • This role will be working on numerous projects, currently 15 – 20 per annum, but this number will increase going forward. The projects have a variety of sizes from £100,000 to over £1m. The Patient Connect (business unit of Clarivate) Team is currently 14, however this is expanding. The data analyst will be integrated in the Delivery team.
  • Projects are mostly in main five EU Countries, plus USA. Again, this is due to expand going forward.
  • Immediate team is the Delivery Team, headed up by Olimpia Perulán-Escanilla who is VP Delivery. There are two Project Managers, an existing Lead Data Analyst who they will report to and then a Developer and a Network Manager.
  • Very strong excel skills, plus able to use full Microsoft Office suite; Experience of AWS or similar cloud-based system. Strong knowledge in SQL (experience working in Redshift/Athena is a plus), Strong knowledge in Python.

Hours of work 

The teams you work with are primarily located in EMEA, and you may work with teams internationally in the US and APAC. This is a full time permanent role.
