Role description

We are seeking an enthusiastic HR Intern to join our team in the UK and provide invaluable support to our Global HR department. Your role will involve performing a variety of administrative tasks, including updating employee records, supporting the transition to a new HRIS system, admin support to the recruitment process including scheduling interviews and more.

This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain firsthand experience in HR operations and gain insight into our company’s approach to payroll, recruiting, employee engagement and employee development.

Responsibilities

  • Help with our employees' data transfer to the new HR Information System
  • Supporting the inputting of personal data into the HRIS, running reports and analysis
  • Draft employee contracts and offers and support the employee onboarding process
  • Perform exit interviews with leavers
  • Responding to staff inquiries regarding HR policies, employee benefits, and other HR-related matters.
  • Provide administrative support: Perform various administrative tasks, such as data entry, report generation, and document management, to support the broader HR team.
  • Supports the HR team on key people initiatives and projects
  • Support the Talent Acquisition team in scheduling and confirming interviews with candidates through our Applicant Tracking System
  • Performs ad hoc tasks as required

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization.
  • A hands-on approach and comfortable operating with multiple nationalities

  • Excellent English verbal and written communication skills to support multiple audiences
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
  • Discrete and treat information confidentially
  • Enthusiasm for learning and developing within the HR world
  • Working towards an undergraduate degree
