CME Group is currently looking for a Client Development & Sales summer intern.

This candidate will assist the Client Development & Sales Division on day-to-day activities including market analysis, data collection and ad-hoc projects. Tracking of relationship management tool, data clean ups, analysis of product information, success metrics of sales campaigns etc.

Principal accountabilities

Support the client development and sales teams through tracking and analysis of client activity; prepare reports and present findings to the team; assist in sales campaigns across all six asset classes.

Skills / software requirements

  • Clear understanding of and demonstrable interest in financial and commodity markets
  • Great communication skills and strong personable skills.
  • Calm under pressure.
  • An idea generator – and happy to try new things out
  • Demonstrable evidence of being a team player
  • Attention to detail
  • Demonstrable analysis and problem solving skills
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office product suite (eg Word Excel). Macros ideal
  • Language skills a preference
  • Client / Customer facing experience in some form

Education

Applicants must be pursuing a BA/BS or Masters/Advanced Degree with preference given to those studying Business or Economics in their penultimate year.
