Purpose of the role

As Engineering Administrator, you will be reporting to the Head of Engineering in our Warrington manufacturing site. You will participate in all administration duties to ensure the smooth running of the administration function and work collaboratively with the company's internal teams and produce and populate communications. The Engineering Administrator’s primary role is to help fulfil the clerical role within the engineering department and receive you will receive full support and training.

Main responsibilities

The role of Engineering Administrator works closely with the maintenance team to process orders and maintain internal stock level data, using an inhouse system and Excel spreadsheets. You will also create monthly reports of site energy usage, create health and safety updates, produce supplier reviews, and maintain the diaries of the engineers. This administration role is varied and collaborative, allowing you to build relationships with all teams.

Ideal candidate

To be successful in the role of Engineering Administrator, you will be conversant with MS Word, Outlook and Excel and have a willingness to learning new systems. You will have the ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally and have strong organisational skills. Previous administrative experience within manufacturing, production and logistics would be advantageous but not essential.
