Computershare have a fantastic opportunity to join our Global Audit team as a Junior Data Analyst.

Supporting the Audit Function, the Junior Data Analyst – reporting to the Head of Audit, IT & Information Security - will support the delivery of the data and analytics strategy for the Global Audit team, which consists of Internal Audit and Client & External Audit Services.

Key accountabilities:

  • Support delivery of the Group Audit Data and Analytics Strategy
  • Develop and drive the availability of data to support audit activity, providing subject matter expertise to individual audits
  • Support the delivery of the Risk & Audit Committee and internal departmental reporting by providing relevant data
  • Deliver data analytics capability and output within agreed deadlines
  • Seek opportunities to implement new technology and tools into the Audit team
  • Provide data and analytics subject matter expertise to the Audit team
  • Develop an internal network of data stakeholders across Computershare to support delivery of the Data and Analytics Strategy

Experience

As this is a junior role, we are looking for someone either fresh out of university or has done an intern or self-study in Data Analytics.

It is preferential that the successful candidate has the following:

  • Higher Level qualification in Data Management, information technology systems, business management or related field
  • Experience in data analytics or progressive information technology programming experience or equivalent
  • Professional certification (ACL Certified Data Analyst, CPA, CIA, CFE, CRMA, CISA, etc.)
  • Previous Internal Audit experience desirable but not essential

This is a hybrid position primarily based in Bristol or Edinburgh. We’re committed to your flexibility and wellbeing and our hybrid strategy currently requires two days a week in the office, giving you the option to work remotely for some of your working week.
