About the role
This is a newly created role to start your career working within the Global Strategic Procurement team as a Graduate Assistant Buyer. With specific focus around the development of our data analytics capabilities and execution of our strategic Procurement roadmap.
This role will involve the use of data analytics to support Global Category Managers identify trends and opportunity through the use of Procurement Data Analytics using, PowerBI.
The role will include supporting the Global Procurement team with the Sourcing and Tendering process including, running smaller global tenders and other associated Procurement activity. You will also be responsible for creating a global Procurement pipeline working in conjunction with our e-sourcing provider and creating the relevant KPIs and reports.
You will report into the Associate Director, Indirect procurement, who will support and guide your career and skills development program.
This will give you the opportunity to develop and hone your skills in Procurement and Analysis, working within a global function.
In addition, you will be encouraged to work towards our international professional qualification Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (CIPS) Level 3, as part of your professional development
About you
- An analytical mindset to solving problems using multiple data inputs
- Understanding or worked with analytical software, such as PowerBI
- High Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
- An individual that is comfortable working both in teams and autonomously
- Degree qualification 2:1 or above
- Interested in data analytics but wishing to develop a career in Procurement
- Ability with support to effectively communicate to a diverse audience, at multiple levels within the company using a variety of formats, presentations, emails, leading meetings, face to face meetings etc
