Bulk planning graduate

A Bulk Planning placement in Dale Farm Group Supply Chain Function is an excellent opportunity to experience working with a broad range of internal stakeholders in one of Northern Ireland’s leading dairy manufacturing companies. Our Group Supply Chain Function looks after the coordination of flows of products and information across sites from customer demand through production to distribution.

The Bulk Planning Graduate will work with the Group Production Planner (GPP) to streamline information flows and to improve Group processes. In addition to this continuous improvement work you will gain experience to be able to act as a back up to the GPP. You will be tasked to be involved in the following activities:

  • Support the GPP in monitoring and tracking actual performance vs plan across all liquid milk and bulk production movements.
  • Analyse production records and plan adherence and develop reporting tools supporting existing processes.
  • Communicate Supply Chain planning goals and objectives to key stakeholders.
  • Identify, highlight and support resolution of planning issues in a timely manner.
  • Developing to provide support for comprehensive production planning tools, including budget tracking and resource allocation.
  • Provide support to Supply Chain and Production team members across the Group.
  • Provide flexibility in supporting other functions in the Supply Chain team, as and when required.

What we're looking for

This is a challenging role, and we are looking for energetic and enthusiastic applicants who are able to work reliably on their own initiative and hold a Business related degree. This is a Central Group roll which will give you experience of the workings across functions and sites.

Applicants must have excellent administration and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to plan and work with flexibility to meet deadlines. You should hold a clean current driving licence and have ideally have access to your own transport.
