Dandara Living is recruiting a Graduate Development Manager to join the Investment and Development Team in our brand-new office in Altrincham. This role will support the Development Managers in progressing projects through the feasibility, acquisition, planning and disposal stages, through to start on site, so you will be immersed into the full Development life cycle. You will also have the opportunity to liaise with other areas of the business, including the Design departments, Procurement, Commercial and Delivery to help drive best value for the Business across all areas.

This role offers a great opportunity to progress your skills, BTR market knowledge, development experience and design and project management skills.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Assist the Development Team with day-to-day duties.
  • Selection, liaison and appointment of consultant teams for respective projects
  • Assist, monitor and report against the Development Programmes/Development Budgets.
  • Assist the Development Team and support the Development Managers in full Development life cycle. (progressing projects through the feasibility, acquisition, planning, disposal stages and site starts.
  • Attend meetings and assist Development Team with meeting preparation, minute taking and post-meeting actions.
  • Work with other areas of the business, including commercial, procurement and delivery to drive best value and efficiency from each scheme.
  • Maintain accurate project taxonomies and document control.
  • Liaise with other areas of the business e.g. Design departments; Procurement; Commercial and Delivery to help drive best value for the business
  • Work with a broad spectrum of parties including consultants, local authorities, other third-party organisations through the delivery of project developmentsAbout you
  • Highly motivated and passionate about Development and Construction
  • Construction management or architectural degree
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Word, Teams, Excel and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Demonstrable teamworking skills but also a willingness to work autonomously at times and able to manage priorities and self-manage workload.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills will be required as there will be an expectation to regularly report back to line managers.
