As an Industry Process Consultant intern you will be working within the UK Industry Consulting Team supporting key customer engagements using cutting edge technologies and engineering processes.
We are looking for students passionate about Mechanical Engineering or Aeronautical Engineering currently studying towards their Degree, or Masters seeking an industrial work placement for a 12 months duration to join our team to gain a real time industry work experience. The base location will be Sheffield.
Your responsibilities
- Undertake demonstrations and develop proof of concepts using the 3DEXPERIENCE platform and SIMULIA toolset
- Test and validate developed solutions
- Attend customer meetings to define requirements/deliverables
- Work closely with other members of the team and R&D defining solution scenarios
Your qualifications
- Studying towards a degree in Computer Science
- Coding skills essential with experience of one or more of the following languages; Java, Python, Javascript, VBA, Fortran, C++.
- Knowledge of Web Technologies such as Javascript, JSON, HTML, SSL, Server, Client, J2EE, Web Servers
- Knowledge of Data Analytics and Data Mining techniques is advantageous
- Good presentation skills and team working skills
- Able to work independently and communicate ideas effectively
