We are strengthening our Survey team and are looking for a Graduate Data Processor to join our team. As a Graduate Data Processor, you will be a member of the Offshore Survey Team and will participate in processing all survey sensors data. You will be also responsible for survey data quality assurance and presenting/delivering the data in the client required format.

Duties and responsibilities

  • QA incoming survey data and give immediate feedback to Online surveyor when data does not meet the client specifications.
  • Fully understand processing procedures for pipelines and seabed mapping projects.
  • Be familiar with DeepOcean software packages for data processing and presentation.
  • Process/prepare survey data charts & deliverables in accordance with the given guidelines and specifications.
  • Maintain survey, processing & Data deliveries logs.
  • Participate in software testing, bug reporting and software development requests.
  • Participate in improving processing efficiency and data quality by proposing and implementing new methods and equipment.
  • Make sure all survey data deliverables are packed, labelled, stored and delivered in a professional manner. 

Qualifications and experience

  • Degree in a Survey/Science/Engineering oriented subjects.
  • Proficient verbal and written communication in English.
  • Experience with one or several of the following is preferred:
    • Microsoft Office (Word, excel & Access)
    • AutoCAD
    • GIS applications
