What you’ll be doing
easyJet wants to deliver the best and most profitable business travel network across Europe.
This role plays a key part within our Business Team and interfaces with our Revenue Management and Trading teams, helping set our pricing and trading strategy to maximise total revenue per seat and profit.
Reporting into the Head of Business Development you will work alongside a Business Intelligence Analyst and Business Optimisation Manager to closely monitor business sales trends and help to design and implement revenue initiatives that will improve future performance. In addition, you will:
- Analyse KPIs for future flights and work with Revenue Managers and stakeholders to co-ordinate actions to ensure trading initiatives are implemented and then impact measured once live.
- Monitor Business KPIs and share performance issues with Country Managers and Business Development Managers with actionable insight.
- Provide Business Trading Input and ensure recognition of the business traveller throughout the decision-making process.
How you will do it
You will use your technical skill to manipulate and analyse data along with your commercial awareness to help us translate analysis into actions. Along with experience of Excel and (ideally) SQL & Access, you’ll have knowledge of:
- Modelling and Analysis
- Business plan development
- Forecasting and Budgeting Principles
- Revenue Management
This is a role that will see you interfacing with a number of teams within our Markets and Commercial function as well as across the business including Marketing, PR, Digital, Pricing and Data – so you’ll need to have good interpersonal, communication, and influencing skills.
Your list of responsibilities could include things like:
- Conduct specific, bespoke analyses depending on business trading needs, for example analysing performance around notable events and peak periods.
- Analysing and recommending pricing changes to support the trading team
- Performing specific analysis required to support other departments the business team interacts with
- Supporting on specific projects/actions/business trading needs.
Requirements of the Role
What you will need to do the role:
- A degree-level qualification in analytical and/or numerical proficiency along with Excel and ideally Access & SQL experience which you will have gained in modelling and analysis, business plan development, market/industry research and competitive analysis.
- Understanding of forecasting / budgeting principles and performance tracking against KPI’s
- Experience within Revenue Management within aviation / the travel industry, although not essential, will be advantageous
- In addition, you will be passionate about driving impact and be comfortable with being held to account for delivery
- Problem solving skills and the ability to structure a complex problem and drive to key solutions hypothesis
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills which will enable you to build productive relationships internally and clear evidence of influencing skills
- Self-motivation, with ability to work autonomously, organising time and prioritising workload.
- Flexibility to work in a cross-functional, matrixed environment where multiple priorities need to be managed

This is a full-time hybrid working role, we typically get together once a week in the office which is based at Luton Airport.
