    The Network Analyst (NA) sits in the European Network team, within the wider Network Team, and reports into Senior European Network Manager

    The European network team is responsible for the deployment of capacity across our European bases within a time horizon of 6 months to 2 years from operation with the objective to maximise long term profitability. The team is responsible for driving the strategy at base and country level translating these into route-level actions, and delivering overall profitability.

    About the Role

    The Network Analyst position aims to develop individuals with a rounded set of skills and experiences to be able to become full Network Manager in the wider team. 

    The position will allow the candidate to develop her/his commercial judgement, analytical skills, stakeholder management, strategic thinking and problem solving.

    The Network Analyst will be responsible for managing a small set of our bases and provide support across the Network team, working on ad-hoc requests and business cases.

    Responsibilities

    • Responsible for planning and managing the deployment of capacity for Portugal and the Netherlands
    • Work with the relevant stakeholders on schedule build process and budget
    • Fully responsible for defining the base strategy, translating these to route-level actions, and delivering overall profitability
    • Handle all associated cross-functional interactions and support Country Directors for the base
    • Support the other Network Managers with any ad-hoc tasks, projects and business cases
    • Support the wider Network Team with projects and processes in their focus areas, relying on different forms of analysis to drive insights and develop action plans

    Requirements of the Role

    • Graduate calibre with strong numerate background

    • Inquisitive, with an aptitude for problem-solving

    • Intermediate analytical skills and knowledge of Excel; ideally also MS Access and SQL

    • Attention to detail and creativity in dealing with complex and diverse data sets

    • Interest, and ideally experience in modelling and analysis, business plan development, market research and competitive analysis

    • Basic understanding of forecasting / budgeting principles and performance tracking against KPI’s

    • Ability to translate analysis into tangible actions and recommendations

    • Aptitude for influencing and presentational skills

    • Ability to work with others at different level in the organisation
