Formed in 2011, EirEng is a growing engineering consultancy practice with offices in Dublin, Ireland and Bath, UK.

Based on our commitment to an integrated design approach, we have grown a wide-ranging client base across a number of sectors, including an expanding portfolio of Temperature Controlled and Automated Distribution Centres within the logistics sector for some of the biggest companies in the world.

We focus on providing tailor made engineering solutions that have the customer at their centre. We strive to build strong and long-lasting relationships with our clients and partners based on communication, cooperation and mutual respect.

The Role

As a graduate engineer in a relatively small company (28 in Dublin, 6 in Bath, 3 UK Remote) you will gain ownership and responsibility for projects quickly, but will always have the close support from our senior staff. The Bath office has been open for just over a year and in joining us at this point in time, you will have the opportunity to affect the initial shape of the office and the continued development of the company as a whole. Your input, involvement and participation in this will be encouraged and welcomed.

You will be working alongside senior engineers and CAD technicians in both Bath and Dublin, on the structural designs of developments in logistics, warehousing, residential, and commercial sectors at a wide range of scales. Our Civil and Structural engineers work closely together and you will therefore get exposure to drainage and landscape engineering alongside your structural engineering training.

You will be working in a variety of 3D modelling, hand calculations, sketching by hand and in CAD packages, report writing, and attending design coordination meetings from early on. We undertake frequent site visits, to which you will be exposed from early on, accompanying our senor engineers roughly on a fortnightly basis.

We are a company continually striving to improve how we do things and support staff in making proposals of new ways to operate – if it means more efficiency and creativity, we’ll just do it. We look to our younger staff to bring in new ideas, push boundaries and challenge the status quo.

We offer bi-annual bonuses, sports/social activity contributions, company-wide overnight outings, and support in CPD, training and chartership.
