Roles and Responsibilities

The Senior Data Analyst role sits within the Analytics team of the Data Services department responsible for all data applications across the company’s divisions globally from Big Data, Data Warehousing, Business Intelligence, Analytics and Data Science.

  • Work in partnership with individual business units to exploit data artifacts
  • Analyse large sets of data, gain and share insights, and build trend and predictive models
  • Model a wide range of business processes including marketing, finance and operations
  • Work with business stakeholders to understand their analytical requirements and deliver solutions fit-for-purpose.
  • Be pro-active and creative with your solutions
  • Present analytical results to the client showing the insights and explaingin the story the data shows
  • Work with the wider Data Services department to implement new tools and features
  • Develop solutions to satisfy requirements to a high degree of quality and to fixed timelines in a soft-agile development lifecycle
  • Create end-to-end Machine Learning solutions on various datasets and using different models and correlation analysis
  • Get involved in all aspects of data engineering and integrated systems from source systems and ETL/ELT, to front-end reporting and analysis
  • Work with the rest of the department to ensure that requirements are understood by the Engineering team and liaise with the business to ensure a free flow of communication
  • Assist with testing and reconciliation to ensure requirements have been met and support the business through UAT, issue resolution and new feature requests

Required Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Maths, Information Systems, Computer Science or equivalent experience required
  • Have extensive data experience with strong understanding of statistical modelling, reporting, analytics, database usage and design theories with the ability to develop skills quickly in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent skills in Python or R
  • Knowledge on machine learning models and ML libraries
  • Knowledge of data visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau
  • Knowledge of automation processes and model deployment
  • Some knowledge of Databricks cloud platform
  • Experience working with various customers around the business
  • Understanding of the Agile delivery method
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to present ideas in user/business-friendly language
  • Self-motivated and directed, with a keen attention to detail
  • Able to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
  • Can work in a team orientated, collaborative environment
  • Be able to take ideas from inception to delivery
  • Maintain complete confidentiality and discretion at all times. All Endeavor employees are required to sign a confidentiality agreement, and any breach of this agreement will result in immediate disciplinary procedures

Preferred Skills

  • Strong SQL
  • Experience with Big Data and Data Warehousing technologies
  • Experience with Pyspark

Additional Responsibilities and Duties when necessary

  • Take part in analytical and reporting related workshops and meetings including those in the US
  • Available to work out of normal business hours and weekends when required
