We seek to hire a Learning Platforms and Automation intern who can work with complex integrations of learning content for our “One Stop Shop” learning platform called Degreed. All of our digital learning is surfaced and accessible to Ericsson employees through Degreed but this relies on the learning suppliers integrating their content with Degreed using file transfer protocols and APIs. 

Working with new learning platforms you will also help support on experiments with new learning platforms and the introduction of new Degreed functionality ensuring a faultless and smooth implementation within the business.

You will work closely with the Head of Learning Platforms and the Head of Learning Delivery Transformation. Be prepared to collaborate with external suppliers, Degreed, Ericsson People Services as well as the Ericsson IT team. Our goal here is to create an easy and intuitive employee experience for all 100K employees in Ericsson.

You will                                                    

  • Plan and implement solutions to integrate learning content with Degreed identifying the best method for integration.
  • Where internal charging is required you may need to work with Microsoft powerapps as our main method for approvals.
  • Demo and support on the implementation of new Degreed functionality ensuring a smooth implementation within Ericsson.
  • Work with external suppliers to effectively incorporate their learning data within our requesting hub and Degreed.
  • Develop automations using existing solutions but also adding new solutions.
  • Input to the overall systems architecture to deliver an effective end to end experience for people in Ericsson.

To be successful in the role you must have

  • Systems integration knowledge and experience so can clearly appreciate what is possible when integrating platforms.
  • Strong programming skills including coding experience in the use of system automations.
  • Self-organisation and ability to plan projects.
  • Essential to have strong communication skills with the ability to work with multiple partners.
  • Enthusiasm and passion for new technologies, demonstrated through personal projects and commitment to learning new skills.
  • Good knowledge of learning technology industry a plus.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects at the same time in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility, independence and initiative to perform successfully in a fast-paced environment.
  • Innovative, resourceful, collaborative spirit.
  • Currently working towards a Bachelor or Master’s Degree in Computer Science or similar.
