ERM is seeking a Proposal Coordinator to be part of the EMEA Proposal Team and to work with our Partners and Key Client Account Directors to prepare high-impact proposals that clearly articulate ERM’s value proposition. The successful candidate will be an integral part of the team, be confident, service-oriented, have the ability to take the lead on activities / initiatives and drive progress and able to relate well with diverse groups of technical professionals.

Responsibilities

  • Proposal/SOQ Management: Works with Proposal Manager to develop formal plans for responding to large and complex RFPs. Collaborates with consultants to develop themes, strategies, outlines, budgets, and work schedules. Assembles proposal teams and establishes proposal facilities.
  • Content Development: Possess the skills to create general marketing collateral, statements of qualifications, complete request for company information, client communications and presentations.
  • Proposal preparation: Participates in all aspects of proposal preparation including the development and collection of materials (CVs, project information), graphics, content review, and final document assembly.
  • Graphic design: Creates all graphics required for proposals and presentations.
  • Branding: Ensures compliance with company image, signature standards, approval levels, and guidelines.
  • Proposal Database/Salesforce Updating: Creates, maintains, and manages a database of marketing material on SharePoint/Marketing Server, project experience, staff resumes, and other information required for proposal activities such as boilerplate information
  • Proposal Library: Maintain, augment and improve library of reusable components, templates, and processes to reduce response time and improve quality on future bids.
  • Presentations: Helps proposal team in developing a compelling message; facilitates presentation strategy meetings. Researches/develops content for slides (company information, services, experience). Develops graphics to present information visually/data conceptually. Manages internal schedule, team assignments, and electronic files of overall presentation to meet client schedule. Facilitates dry runs with presentation team; provides input to improve quality. Oversees handout production and equipment coordination.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field from an accredited college or university or demonstrated equivalent.
  • Prior experience in a professional services firm working for corporate clients
  • Experience with proposal preparation and management
  • Extensive experience with MS Office Products (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Experience with Graphics, Adobe Creative Suite (e.g., InDesign), and SharePoint
  • Experience with Salesforce or another equivalent CRM database, a plus

Job requirements              

  • A self-starter who can coordinate and manage multiple projects at the with minimal supervision
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Strong Organizational, writing/researching/editing, and time management skills in order to juggle multiple proposals/tasks with differing deadlines.
  • Proven attention to detail
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines
