Joining our team as a Graduate Analyst, you'll be responsible (under guidance), for data analysis and model development to address a range of business problems. As you progress, you will learn about the Experian Bureau Analytics data.  You will learn either new programming skills or how to improve your existing programming skills in commonly used industry wide languages such as Python and WPS/SAS in order to identify and extract critical insight. You will also develop analytical modelling skills through the application of machine learning techniques.

Knowledge, Experience & Qualifications

The successful graduate will have an inquisitive mind with a keen interest in learning, making a difference and supporting a team. Whilst machine learning and programming would be advantage, the ability to work with complex information and simplify this in documentation is more critical.

  • A Bachelor’s degree with a high mathematical content (e.g. Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Operations Research (O.R.), Economics, Physical Sciences, Engineering)
  • Knowledge of relevant statistical and IT packages.
  • Demonstrable Excel data analysis skills
  • Ability to communicate clearly in written reports and presenting technical work
  • An inquisitive mind, focused on addressing and solving data and analysis problems
  • Able to adopt a common sense/logical approach to mathematical reasoning
  • Basic knowledge of computer programming and programming languages (Desirable)
  • Basic knowledge of machine learning (Desirable)
