The Global Financial Operations Scheme Settlements & Insights team operates within Worldpay and is responsible for reconciliations, monitoring, reporting, analytics and insights.
You’ll be joining a team that is at the heart of payment operations, spanning over 150 countries across the globe. It is fast paced, fun and interesting with a great group of colleagues.
What you will be doing
As a Junior Database Analyst, you will be working in the Global Financial Operations team to support them in achieving business objectives. This role requires an enthusiastic, motivated person who can work in fast-paced, dynamic environment. Responsibilities for this role include:
- Delivering reports to the business, hitting set timelines and standards
- Updating existing data sets and managing intricate data models
- Gathering and organising data from multiple source
- Mining large, complex data sets to understand patterns and trends
- Presenting data in various forms, leveraging visualisation tools
- Documenting associated sources, processes and schemas
What you will bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Math, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business or similar
- Proficiency in programming languages such as SQL/Python/R and visualisation tools like Tableau, and familiarity with cloud-based data platforms
- Extensive experience using Excel for analysis
- Experience of visualisation tools including Tableau and Power BI
- Naturally inquisitive about payments and excitement for the journey for Enterprise Global Payments
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
