What will you be doing?
- Hands on experimentation with quantum gate and quantum annealing computers.
- Producing strategy papers outlining the current state of quantum technologies and any potential impact on Flutter.
- Sharing project output across the group via presentations to leadership teams.
- Working with team members across the group to highlight the impact of new technologies in their areas.
What we're looking for?

- A strong relationship builder and who will work closely with internal teams.

- Strong analysis, problem resolution, judgment and decision-making skills
- Bachelors or above in a technology subject area.
- Background in computer science, maths, or physics. Candidates should have passed at least two years of an undergraduate degree by the start date (+3rd year is preferable).
- Be able to code proficiently in Python. Familiarity with SQL and Linux is desirable.
- Candidates have high levels of proficiency in Statistics (particularly Monte Carlo simulations) and quantum mechanics.
- Previous experience with high-performance computing is desirable.
- For candidates to have completed the IBM Quantum course series by the start date (This can be completed following offer of internship). Key modules are:
- Basics of Quantum Information
- Fundamentals of Quantum Algorithms
- Variational Algorithm Design
