FNZ’s has a dedicated team responsible for providing development and consultancy services to existing wealth management customers using the FNZ Figaro product.

Within this role you’ll be involved in software support and development projects of varying size and complexity, working with our clients to provide them with new and innovative software solutions that help them to successfully meet their business goals.

Key tasks

  • Work with Clients to help define their requirements and ensure solutions that we deliver meet their requirements, ensuring the requirements are quantifiable and testable.
  • Understand and analyse business requirements to enable the design of detailed test requirements
  • Develop and maintain a deep knowledge of the platform functionality and business processes.
  • Completing reviews and walkthroughs of documentation and of software changes, both internally and with Clients.
  • Collaborate with the wider Delivery Team when challenges are encountered during build.
  • Carrying out testing to ensure solutions meet business and technical requirements, analysing the results, and identifying and reporting on any problems encountered.
  • Creation of clear, destructive and broad test cases that contain the appropriate level of detail.
  • Draft and issue test plans, where appropriate.
  • Create and maintain test scripts in a test management tool, to a specified quality standard.
  • Issue testing status and completion reports to Project Teams and to Clients.
  • Ensure documentation is maintained in accordance with established standards.
  • Help to investigate and diagnose support issues, and working closely with Clients to ensure successful resolution.
  • Provide feedback on project and support work to help contribute to the continuous improvement of the team and FNZ.
  • Assist Clients in the implementation of Figaro functionality as necessary.

Experience, knowledge and skills required

  • Degree educated in a technical subject (e.g. Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics or Engineering).
  • Ideally have some understanding of wealth management practices (but training will be provided in this domain).
  • Excellent organisational, administration and time management skills.
  • Good team working and communication skills, confident in dealing with internal and external Clients.
  • Highly developed written and oral communication skills.
