The role

You will be part of the Pharmaceutical Diagnostics (PDx) team as the Global Compliance QRA (Quality and Regulatory Affairs) Finance Intern. This new and key role in the QRA team will play an active role in supporting the day to day financial accounting for Quality and Regulatory teams as well as supporting financial planning for compliance improvement projects.

Over your 12-month internship you'll work in a finance business environment gaining invaluable skills and experience. You will be guided by structured goals & objectives and will have responsibility to deliver on inspiring projects. We will support you throughout the year to ensure you make the best of your GE experience. Your manager will offer coaching and mentoring, and the company will provide the opportunity to connect with other interns across the UK.

Responsibilities

  • Support the QRM (Quality Risk Management) Program in relation to Site & Global Risk Registers & Development and delivery of FMEA training across PDx
  • Financial planning and analysis
  • Preparing key reports
  • Analyzing data
  • Supporting preparation of quarter end accounts
  • Support other key activities within the Global Compliance team where needed to drive compliance improvements.

Qualifications

  • Third-Year level and up in Bachelor of Science Degree, Engineering or Finance (Undergraduate)
  • Proficient in using MS Based Applications especially MS Excel

Desired Characteristics

  • Excellent time management and administrative skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Good general computer skills
