Your future position

Working at our site in Milton Keynes, you will begin your journey into the world of flavours and ingredients for the food and beverage market.  Sound interesting? Reporting to the UK Marketing Director, during the placement you will be:

  • Researching and analysing market data to identify trends/themes
  • Making commercial and strategic recommendations based on research
  • Creating monthly newsletters to highlight market activity  Helping to identify drivers of growth and Givaudan differentiation in the market
  • Supporting in the development of stronger value propositions to go-to-market
  • Working closely to support the research and analysis needs of the UK marketing team
  • Preparing commercial information including prices, pipeline performance overviews and monthly sales reporting
  • Attending customer meetings with Key Account Managers
  • A working member of the sales support performing daily tasks/functions
  • Having direct customer contact
  • Part of the project management cycle Part of product development process with tasting and evaluations
  • Preparing sample requests, pricing and meetings with KAMs
  • Supporting with ad-hoc presentations, quick turnaround and more straight forward requests
  • Preparing customer “Value Review” packs

 Your professional profile

 

  • BSc in Marketing or Business related discipline 
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both verbally and written Organised, with high attention to detail
  • Common sense approach with a helpful ‘can do’ attitude and willingness to learn
  • Proficient in IT applications e.g Microsoft Office Suite
  • Open communication style
  • Ability to work under own initiative and as a part of a team
