The role

You will be the junior member of the TfL Partnership Team that provides an account management role to TfL, championing their interests internally, and ensuring that we meet all our contractual commitments. You will be passionate about providing the relevant administrative support to the team.

Measures of success

In the first few months, you would have:

  • Built a strong bond with your immediate team and understood the team’s priorities and challenges.
  • Understood the who’s who of TfL, the workings of the organisation, and have built a good rapport with your day-to-day contacts.
  • Achieved excellent knowledge of the various systems required.
  • Developed a good understanding of the function of the various Global departments (Commercial and Operational, Legal and People and Culture etc) and how you might liaise with each.
  • Adjudicated and processed various pieces of creative copy.
  • Produced TfL’s suite of reports and recordings.
  • Written up actions from a TfL/Global Partnership meeting.
  • Proofread an important document.
  • Assisted with diary management of a TfL meeting or event.

Responsibilities of the role

  • Work on the Global TfL copy referral process as part of a close team.
  • Support on the allocation of TfL’s free media space campaigns.
  • Support on roadside rebuilds and maintenance admin required.
  • Produce TfL’s suite of 4 weekly, quarterly, and annual reports; chasing internally to ensure the relevant deadlines are met, and maintaining accurate records to facilitate reporting.
  • Assist in deck creative for TfL/Global governance meetings and inductions etc, attending where relevant and capturing minutes & actions.
  • Carryout bespoke revenue runs, photo collation, TfL doc control system, as required by the business.
  • Become a ‘champion’ of an agreed specific business area, for example, SLNT, Creative Solutions or Operations.
  • Event organisation / workplace posts / diary management
  • A range of miscellaneous tasks as required by other TfL team members.

The ideal candidate will be proactive and willing to develop and implement innovative solutions, capable of the following:

  • Verbal and written communication is coherent and well-structured with use of appropriate language.
  • Demonstrates numerical ability; at ease using reports and data, comfortable with excel, content using the relevant systems.
