Academic Requirements

Essential

  • Minimum 2:2 Degree Classification
  • 3 x A Levels (or equivalent) at grade C or above

Desirable

  • 2:1 Degree Classification

The Role

  • To undertake the Trainee Broker Development Programme with the aim of becoming a Broker within a 2 year period achieving the industry recognised CII professional qualification.
  • Responsibility for allocated clients with supervision, including negotiating with insurers, placing cover and helping clients to manage their risk, as well as dealing with prospective clients with a view to securing new business.
  • Creating, updating and managing computer and manual records, as appropriate.
  • Attending client meetings, accompanied by an experienced member of the team.
  • Providing support to the team leader and other team members where required.
  • Reporting to the team leader on competition and related issues.
  • Performing any other duties which management may, from time to time, reasonably request.
