The purpose of this role is to support the Group Tech teams, at our offices in Chester and the London office location.

The ideal candidate will be experienced in handling a wide range of administrative support-related tasks and is able to work independently with minimal supervision.

This person must be exceedingly well-organised and flexible. Working collaboratively to ensure that key regulatory and operational processes are maintained to a high standard for every stakeholder that we work with.

This is the ideal position for someone looking to get started in the world of operational technology and is keen to learn from a team of experienced technology professionals.

Key responsibilities

  • To support the department’s supplier management processes, including maintenance & development of record systems.
  • Actioning requests to the IT Admin mailbox, managing purchases from raising a purchase order, through to processing invoices for payment and, working with colleagues & suppliers to trouble-shoot & resolve difficulties.
  • Monitoring budgets and reconciliations.
  • Support the team in projects to enhance and simplify processes.
  • Support the implementation and maintenance of governance mechanisms including compliance to a third party risk management framework.
  • Build up a repository of project templates both technical and management to support the team – use examples from current and past projects to identify best practice.
  • Continue to evolve the processes and templates throughout the project lifecycle and project and ensure updates are entered in a time controlled fashion.
  • Building strong working relationships with key internal stakeholders
  • Support the management of all Group Technology risks including security and business continuity.
  • Providing administrative support to the team which will include organising Town Halls and team events.
  • The role will also include diary management for the Technology senior leadership team and coordinating and supporting external events including seminars and networking events.

Key requirements

  • You need to have 1 years + office admin/coordination experience.
