During this first ever Product Buying & Sourcing Graduate Program, your mission will be to learn from our world-class Product Buying and Sourcing functions. These functions work towards maintaining Gymshark’s sustainable supply chain, delivering our Global Sourcing & Buying Strategy and contributing to the success of our product offerings.
During this program you will build collaborative relationships with external partners globally, and with internal teams such as Merchandising, Sustainability, Materials and Product Development.
Program Start Date: 2nd September, 2024
Program Duration: Two Years
Program Location: Blythe Valley Park in Shirley, West Midlands, UK

What you’ll learn
This program offers a rotation across Product Buying, Merchandising and Sourcing, allowing you to gain full exposure of these critical functions.
You will gain experience in the following areas (& more!)
- Developing sub-category range plans, assigning product attributions and deliver a monthly line lock.
- Understand competitor landscape and analysing against current product needs to provide detailed analysis.
- Following product creation to ensure quality prototypes and samples are delivered for range reviews.
- Building compelling product presentations
- Executing order placement from merchandising and execution meeting expectations on capability, capacity, quality, and performance
- Reviewing targets set by department lead and collaborate with design and technical on how to achieve the targets, advising and guiding cross functionally.
- Negotiating costing on responsible categories.
- Maintaining strong supplier partnership
- Updating the developmental critical path and hold peers responsible for hitting deadlines across Raw materials, Product development, and quality
What you’ll need
We’re not about box-ticking and our graduate programs are about developing you.
To be successful for a Product Buying and Sourcing graduate program with us, you will:
- Have acquired (or finishing) a BA/BSc/MA degree within a relevant area
- Be proficient in Microsoft Office suite (especially Excel)
- Have strong system management skills
- Be passionate about the fashion and sports apparel industry
- Have an interest and knowledge of what is involved apparel supply chain

What happens next?
Application Outcomes: Early May
If successful, you will be invited to complete a video interview in your own time so we can get to know the person behind the application.
Video Interview Outcomes: End of May
If successful, you will be invited to an in person assessment day at Gymshark HQ in June.
To be eligible, you must
- Be a recent or soon to be graduate or postgraduate
- Be happy to work from our HQ campus (Shirley, West Midlands, UK) 4-5 days a week
- Be ready to start from September 2024 for two years
- Have full, unsponsored right to work in the UK (unfortunately we cannot provide sponsorship for our graduate programs)
