We are searching for an ambitious and creatively minded Growth Marketing Intern who will support Green Chef in disrupting the healthy eating space for the better. We’re looking for an ambitious, smart communicator who likes a challenge and thrives in a busy environment where disrupting the status quo is top of the agenda.

About the role

Green Chef is on the hunt for a Growth Intern with an interest in driving customer acquisition, who is looking for experience working for a high growth challenger brand, and a passion or interest in health and nutrition. As an entry level role, you will get hands-on experience collaborating with some of the best D2C marketers around who will support you in developing the foundations in acquisition marketing and the nuances between online and offline growth strategies. This role sits within the Growth team reporting to the Senior Marketing Manager and working closely with the Brand Manager, Performance marketing teams, and creative teams.

Working closely with the local and global growth team you’re overall responsibilities will include:

  • End to end management of Freebies Offline, responsible for liaising with agency providers, analytics and operations teams on a weekly basis
  • Support the Direct Sales channel owner with troubleshooting requests from both lead and sales agency, supporting with reporting and analysis as required 
  • End to end delivery of our Q4 Direct Mail and Gift-card campaigns, working with local and global and external partners to deliver and analyse these campaigns 
  • End to end delivery of partnerships, managing outreach, proposal development, campaign delivery and analysis
  • Weekly cost reporting for Marketing costs, ensuring all costs are reported in a timely manner  
  • Local point of contact for the Global teams for content and assets, managing briefing, quality control and securing sign-off  
  • Monthly analysis of customer insights and market trends identifying best practice marketing tactics and opportunities to grow the brand 
  • Coordinate the inclusion of weekly samples and collateral with external providers and our internal operations teams
  • Properly execute the additional campaign analysis that comes from all of these activities, we will need additional resource 

Who you are

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Relevant internship/working experience; tech industry experience would be a plus
  • Ambitious with tireless optimism, resilience and a great attitude 
  • Proven self starter, with track record of problem solving and who leverages a data-driven approach
  • Strong data analysis and presentation skills, well versed in Microsoft Suites: Excel and Powerpoint - can create reports and presentations for internal and external teams
  • Understanding of digital marketing disciplines from Paid Social, Search, SEO, Ecommerce, social media or affiliate marketing
  • Passionate about the digital industry and highly digital savvy 
  • Commercially aware, with strong data driven, strategic mindset
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize and manage multiple assignments
  • Team player- Great interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, and can successfully collaborate effectively with diverse types of people
  • Passion for health, and making healthy eating accessible and fun 
  • Naturally curious creative thinker who possesses the entrepreneurial spirit
  • A Master Degree in Digital/Marketing would be a plus

Level and progression: From there, you can progress to a Lead level within the same function, or progress sideways to a role in another team at HelloFresh for which you have transferable skills.
