An exciting opportunity for a Graduate to join our recently created Innovation Delivery team based in either of our Bristol offices (City Centre, BS1 4RW or at the head office in Almondsbury, Bristol BS32 4DF). At the time of writing, we are predominantly working from home, but there is an appetite to return to the collaborative and social environment that is a Hydrock office, when it is safe to do so and expect a blend of office and home working in the future.

Hydrock

We are a British owned integrated engineering design, energy and sustainability consultancy, with social value running through everything we do. We have been consistently in the 100 Best Companies to Work For list for the last seven years. We pride ourselves on looking after our people and our values help create a unique, dynamic, working environment for our growing community of 700 employees across our 18 UK offices. Feedback from our client listening programme and employee surveys indicates we are great to work with, whether providing our services to a client or a rewarding experience for our employees.

For some useful fast facts on us, you can check out our backstory, key numbers, recent awards and accolades, along with our pledges, commitments and memberships here.

When we do return to the office, both locations have much to offer. Located on the adjacent to Wapping Wharf, Cargo offers excellent food for lunchtime socials and being in close proximity to the Harbourside allows a highly encouraged harbour walk to stretch the legs, get some fresh air and stimulate those innovative ideas. Equally, our rural OCB office offers excellent links to the M5 and on site carparking.  We have great facilities for cyclists and many of our employees ride in from Bristol and surrounds.  Some benefits you might not expect include opportunities to work out over lunch on our substantial site overlooking the Severn (casual fitness classes, running, cycling) and an annual wellbeing bonus.

What you'll do

At Hydrock, we are excited about new ideas and improving the long-term sustainability of our places and communities.  Our engineers have the capability to implement these ideas.  However, to have great ideas people need the time and space to think. This means minimising repetitive tasks and inefficient processes.  This is why our Innovation Delivery team was created, to help make this happen.

The graduate role is a truly unique one. You will have the opportunity to work with some of the most senior people in the business to help Hydrock build new services that set us apart from the competition, drive us towards zero carbon and make working within the company an even better experience.
