Our human factors services are industry leading, from regulatory compliance to safety critical task analyses, we’re consistently scored highly by clients. We’re also looking to modernise the industry, with a suite of softwares which our in-house experts use alongside our clients.

We develop individuals through a portfolio of training and development courses designed to help you make the best of your abilities and talents. We have a technical pathway which you will follow alongside day-to-day tasks. You’ll be expected to attend conferences, support our senior consultants in client meetings and on occasion present to industry peers.

What you’ll be doing

You’ll be working on a number of client projects requiring the application of human factors principles. You will be in regular communication with the team and will be expected to take the initiative in areas you’re confident in and request support in the areas you’re not.

Alongside project work, you will follow IHF’s technical pathway towards Chartered status. This is a training programme which will equip you with required qualifications and confidence to deliver human factors to the highest level.

You will possess most of the following key skills:

  • BSc in Human Factors Engineering, Engineering Psychology, Usability, Ergonomics or a related field
  • Understanding of human error prediction techniques
  • Knowledge of human factors assessments
  • Experience with producing high quality human factor reports as part of your studies
  • Experience in presenting HF recommendations to others
