The role

This role is a 12-month internship starting in July 2022, finishing July 2023. Based at our offices in Granta Park, Cambridge. Our program focuses on meaningful project work, professional and personal development, in addition to providing networking opportunities.

Role and responsibilities

As our Communications Intern you will have a great opportunity to immerse yourself in the world of communications within a global leader in the scientific and healthcare space. You’ll work across the breadth of our teams across our EMEA business, developing stories to serve internal and external communications.  Your ability to interview, write and communicate in an engaging passionate way will be key, as well as a talent for identifying great stories to celebrate success and help support recognition of colleagues.

Preferred experience and qualifications

  • Preferred Educational Background: Undergrad/BA Level, ideally life sciences (Biology, Molecular Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry)
  • Outstanding listening, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of colleagues.
  • Efficient time management skills with the ability to stay focused on primary business objectives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

You will have a flair for communication and be interested in a career within either PR and / or communications, with a scientific bias.
