What you’ll be doing

This is a great opportunity to experience different aspects of CPU HW development by joining a dynamic CPU Hardware team dedicated in developing cutting-edge RISC-V CPUs. You will be participating in real projects giving you the opportunity to contribute to impactful activities while getting valuable experience and skills that will help you in your studies and exploring your future career aspirations.

You will

  • Work alongside experienced engineers and CPU experts who are very keen in sharing their knowledge
  • Be able to explore a wide range of CPU HW architecture topics
  • Be given the opportunity to deep-dive on the details of innovative CPU microarchitectures and understand basic trade-off design principles
  • Be contributing, depending on the topic, to verification environment development (UVM-based Verification or Formal Verification) and flow development, develop RTL and get experience on relevant design flows
  • Get exposure to the basic elements of a real product and project operation and execution

You will

  • Be self-motivated, comfortable with expressing your ideas and able to communicate in an articulate manner
  • Have strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Be able to work well within a team
  • Be open to new challenges
  • Have experience with a programming language
  • Have a good understanding of Computer Architecture 

You might also have

  • Knowledge of CPU architecture and micro-architecture
  • Understanding of ASIC design flow and fundamental digital design
  • Knowledge of HDL languages like VHDL or Verilog/SystemVerilog
  • Exposure to basic verification concepts and methodology such as UVM or Formal
  • Knowledge of object-oriented programming and/or assembly language
  • Working knowledge of scripting languages such as Perl or Python
