Hybrid Working Model

Imagination Technologies operates a hybrid working model globally that allows our employees to split their time between attending the workplace and working remotely.

What you’ll be doing

Our objective is to enable teachers to teach, and students to learn, with our technologies. Our primary audience are teachers in Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science and Gaming, in a market of around 6000 Universities worldwide.

You will

  • Be part of a team promoting semiconductor technology that is used in billions of products worldwide
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the IUP - these include website, logistics & stock, budgeting and teaching material development projects
  • Set up, manage and host online & offline events – including presentations, conferences, symposiums, training workshops and webinars
  • Liaise with different parties to coordinate logistics, promotions and solve issues ahead of each event
  • Assist the Marketing Communications Team in understanding and exploiting Chinese social media and assisting in generating social media content
  • Maintain existing stakeholder relationships, and forge new relationships with support services and universities, especially in China
  • Lead the hiring process of your successor, then provide a smooth transition for your successor through good documentation of processes and systems, and hands-on training to enable them to get started quickly

You are

  • Probably studying a combination of Marketing, Business, Management, Consultancy, Analysis, or Innovation
  • Perhaps you are an Engineer or Computer Scientist with a keen interest in Marketing and Business
  • At undergraduate or master’s level
  • Available for a full-year’s placement starting around June 2022, with the placement as part of your course
  • On a Student Visa for a course where a placement is a required part of the course, or holding an UK/Irish passport

You have

  • Fluency in Mandarin Chinese
  • Clear written and spoken English
  • A growing level of time management and project management skills
  • The ability to work independently and be a good team player
  • Competence with MS Office, especially Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • A “can do” problem-solving attitude
  • An eye for detail
  • A strong motivation to become a well-rounded professional who seizes new projects and training opportunities
