What our staff do every day

Software Testers create and execute test cases for a wide range of music industry products introduced by inMusic's global development teams. They bring keen troubleshooting minds and a general love for audio gear, production, and performance. They possess strong written and oral communications skills, and the ability to work independently or in a collaborative setting.

The beta liaison team work with 10+ brands, including pro audio and consumer electronics software and hardware products for both software and hardware to bring our beta testing programmes to life, while helping our current programme participants to deliver useful feedback, forwarded to project teams.

The inMusic family, with headquarters in Rhode Island, USA, has offices all over the world. You will interact with an international team of professionals.

Job responsibilities 

  • Create and execute detailed test plans for new products.
  • Maintain software quality for existing products.
  • Maintain testing status/progress using standard bug tracking tools.
  • Advise approval of final code/hardware components.
  • Create FAQs, release notes, and support materials for end-user support groups.
  • Answer beta testers inquiries through a variety of channels, including forum, email, and IM.
  • Ensure an excellent beta tester experience, emphasising feedback, quality bug reports, sensible and useful feature requests, and maintaining beta tester engagement.
  • Resolve any setup and technical difficulties for beta updates.
  • Write Beta FAQ entries, knowledge base entries, technical help entries and release posts.
  • Maintain knowledge of all existing and new products, emphasising setup, practical use, and troubleshooting.
  • Work with Software QA and onwards Product and Project teams.
  • Take part in multiple Software QA regression runs.
