Graduate/Junior/Entry-level International Accounts Analyst with Payments Risk, Fraud Detection, Compliance and excellent analytical skills is highly sought by a multiple award winning games studio based in Birmingham who are the UK’s largest privately owned mobile e-gaming studio! We currently have just over 300+ employees here at our Birmingham HQ, with just over 5mn+ registered customers here in the UK alone!

In this position, you will work within our Payment Risk Operations team where you’ll act as a first line for performing initial investigations on international player accounts across our key market areas, including Europe, Canada, South Africa, China & Japan. You will be taking a proactive role in monitoring online player activity, reviewing gameplay for signs of collusion, performing root cause analysis, turning data into actionable insight for improvement, identifying appropriate chargebacks to contest and analysing transactional data to mitigate fraud and financial loss.

In addition, you will communicate, liaise and collaborate with a multitude of cross functional teams across the business, third party payment providers, international customers and third party organizations to ensure corrective actions have been taken against any data that may suggest potential fraud or risk.

This position would ideally suit someone with an academic background in Business Management, Economics or Investigative Studies (or similar), that’s looking to join a team focused on detecting fraudulent activity, profiling ‘high risk’ customer activity to help determine the authenticity of transactions and gaming behaviours.

Key skills

  • Degree in Business Management, Economics, Investigative Studies (or similar).
  • Excellent numerical skills with an analytical mind (inc skills in MS Excel).
  • Proactive, commercial thinker with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Fluent in Mandarin

Bonus points for…

  • Anti-Money Laundering principles and regulations knowledge.
  • An interest in online gaming!

Therefore, if you are a recent graduate in a related field looking to join a multiple award winning eGaming studio who have been accredited as one of the ‘Top 1000 Companies to Inspire Britain’, been recognised by the BBC as a top technology employer and have a 1 star accreditation as a ‘Top Company to Work For’, then send in your CV today for review!
