Well established group of local farm practices. This is a varied role across the 2
sites with required flexibility in location to allow exposure to variety of farm visits and projects ongoing. Rural location in beautiful countryside, but easy access to main towns and cities. Perfect location offering great balance between getting into the Snowdonia hills or exploring towns such as Shrewsbury or Chester.

We have a great sense of community, engaging with our farm clients through regular meetings and proactive work. Vets encouraged to develop their own clinical interests to drive services offered to clients. Graduate support structure in place, with Vet GDP advisor and Mental Health Champions.
Regular team meetings with clinical and social aspects, great support structure in place - dedicated on call support and team communication through messaging channels.

We have 6.5 FTE Farm Vets across 2 sites as well as 1 ATT and 1 ATT in training. We have 4 Easi scan go units, Bull EEJ kit, on site lambing facilities at each site with specific surgical tables. Vet Impress software tablets for access to data and invoicing on the go.

Step into a supportive start

Your normal hours of work are 40 hours per week, 5 days a week. Monday to Friday between 8.30am and 5.30pm. You will also be required to participate in a weekend rota and/or an out of hours on-call rota which will include working on weekends and bank holidays.

We are looking for a graduate with a strong motivation and passion for farm work. We'd love this person to be able to integrate well with our supportive team, all working together to offer great service to our clients. We encourage self-growth and see real opportunity for involvement with key new services we'd like to grow and offer to our clients. Direct and indirect support from our clinical director and senior vet team as the graduates confidence and capability grows.
